I finally got my ring back, and my husband and I have been messing around with the digital camera this weekend. These aren't the most professional pictures in the world, but I think you can get an idea of what the final product looks like. I am so excited. I've had so many compliments on my new ring. The center diamond is absolutely stunning!! I can't keep my eyes off of it. I am so thankful to you for your beautiful diamonds and exemplary service. It's amazing the level of customer service you provide to someone who lives over 3,000 miles away from you. Your efforts far surpassed even the local jewelers I had visited while shopping. Your prices are unbeatable as well. In fact, the appraiser I took the diamond to couldn't believe you could sell a diamond for that price. He said I would be lucky to find a diamond of that calibur anywhere in town, much less for the price I paid for it. You really went the extra mile for me, and I am so happy I found your site. I just want to say THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I am still basking in the afterglow of happiness from my IF E super ideal princess diamond purchase! It was well worth the redeye turnaround trip! I have to tell you that I have more resources to buy a nice diamond than most people because I have access to the web, the ability to visit diamond districts anywhere in the world (I work for an major airline) and a good education of diamond buying (I have been engaged several times;original runaway bride). My husband, Mustafa, whom I met AND married on a meant-to-be trip, is perfectly sweet and generous....he let me pick out my belated engagement ring. Hence, I have been looking for high quality at a fair price for a year and a half. This quest for the perfect stone for me ended with you. Your website showcased gorgeous diamonds at great prices. More specifically, I loved that you backed up your diamonds with not only photographs of the GIA certificate but you also provided actual 10x photos of the stones AND GEMEX BrillianceScope readings AND Idealscope readings. Your website was awesome but it was still was not the final hook because internet purchases are scary. Therefore, there you saw me surprising you by flying the red-eye cross country to see the stone and return that same day. The greater and more pleasant surprise went to me however, because I saw your operation first hand and met you and your son Judah. Barry, I must tell you that I felt so comfortable and relaxed. It was like buying expensive jewelry from a first cousin or lifelong friend. I never felt pressured but did find myself feeling more and more excited. I also appreciated Judah's truthful comments and suggestions when it came to getting the stone set. Other jewelers have definitely been more "salesmen". In all, my belated engagement ring has more sentimental value because of my husband's love expressed through his blind generosity and because of my visit with you two. I wanted to write a note to thank you for providing such a positive customer experience for the purchase of my SuperbCert diamond. I am not one to take much on faith. Rather, I am type-A with the "A" standing for "Analytical". I researched heavily before decided to purchase a diamond from SuperbCert Based on all the objective sources I could find, your cutting process appeared to yield the most consistently brilliant super-ideal hearts & arrows diamonds at a reasonable price. So, I decided to visit your website to see for myself. What I found was a truly end-to-end first class experience. The website is very well outlined and easy to understand. No gimmicks, just the facts. The inventory of available diamonds were right there for me to click on and investigate - right down to the most minute details. Imagine my delight when I emailed SuperbCert to request further information and you called me the next day directly. Based on my estimation, you are not a small company. It meant a lot to have the company owner call me the very next day directly. When I decided to purchase my 1.65 Round from you, I had it appraised here locally in Dallas, TX. The gemologist confirmed that it was one of the most beautifully cut diamonds he had ever seen. No surprise to me by that point in the process.... I was sold. Needless to say, I kept the diamond and it is now part of the engagement ring I will use to propose marriage over Christmas 2002. | After 6 months of diamond hunting and examining several branded and unbranded stones, my quest has finally come to an end. I purchased a wonderful diamond for my proposal ring from Barry Gutwein at SuperbCert. I was initially very nervous about making the transaction - it takes a lot of work to obtain my trust AND my money. Being unable to see whom I deal with makes matters even worse! What more, committing such an important amount BEFORE receiving anything at all is a totally foreign concept to me. I usually pay and grab my goods at the same time. But the biggest deterrent was that I'm in Singapore. In the event legal action would be required, I would have no idea where to start nor whom to go to. Communicating with Barry several times per day for more than 3 weeks helped ease my fears that he was a con man. Seeing so many satisfied customers on DiamondTalk made me certain that going with any one of the DiamondTalk dealers would be safe. And it adds a measure of comfort knowing they are accountable to DiamondTalk! The price, the excellent service, and the gentlemanly way in which Barry wrote closed the deal for me. Despite being a 'small fry' compared to the US consumers (you guys wear HUGE stones!) I was pleasantly surprised that someone as busy as Barry spent so much time with me. I am not an easy customer. I always ask loads of (sometimes stupid) questions in every email and request for all kinds of pictures and comparisons. And I always have more questions once I receive answers. In each email, Barry was very patient despite the fact my choice kept wavering just when he was about to close the deal. He even examined the diamonds personally for me, when I told him I had difficulty choosing between two stones with the same specs. I have absolutely no regrets now, even though my bank account looks like a deflated balloon. I have one of the most beautiful diamonds I have ever laid my eyes upon. The fire and brilliance are so amazing I've been spending hours admiring it under different light conditions. Witnessing the amazing dispersion never fails to make me smile like a slobbering idiot. Viewing it under the Idealscope confirmed what me eyes were seeing - superb light return and internal symmetry. To decide whether or not I would keep the SuperbCert, I brought it to several jewelry shops along with my Idealscope and compared it to 4 Hearts on Fire and 4 Brilliant Roses of similar size. My stone emerged as the winner each time - while it was either on par with the others or slightly more beautiful, its price was about two thirds that of the others! My experiment left me convinced that I had made the right choice with my limited budget. It will be very hard for me to part with "My Precioussss" once I propose. I think I should get one for myself!
