We picked up the ring yesterday and it is indeed BEAUTIFUL! :)
Thanks for being accomodating and for your patience with all the questions and requests I had, both prior to and after the purchase.

...my process was quite interactive with my to-be fiancee. We had exhausted the local stores looking for the just the right "look". We found it at Exel Diamonds. She of course forwarded me the link and from that point it was up to me.
The site was a little cumbersome....no, actually, it was quite cumbersome if you want to go back and forth between pages...I suggest looking out for subtle hints for page orientation that just made things easier...without those, well, expect to let loose with a few explicatives.
When all was said and done....I wasn't sure exactly how long delivery would take. I finally inquired about 8 days later and "Barry" reassured me my order was nearing completion - which it was. The delivery was a little quirky as my Fedex shipment went to a UPS drop point....which refused receipt. I was lucky enough to be tracking, almost, real time and intercepted it by calling Fedex directly.
The setting, drop dead gorgeous!!! It brought tears to my now-fiancee even though she even picked most of it out....OK, stone choice was mine...documentation that accompanied it was above and beyond. Of course, I need to get it appraised for my home-owners rider....but I seriously think it'll do just fine.
....questions were promptly responded to, my eagerness was dealt with with professionalism, I will certainly do business here again and look forward to visiting their operation in the near future....

Dear Barry
Just thought I would drop a note to let you know that I have received the ring and it is incredibly beautiful. My fiancee was so amazed by it that she shed tears! What's more, she wore it while we shopped for wedding jewellery and it completely blew the ideal-cut diamonds on display away.
What more can I say... I am 110% grateful that I made the decision to buy from you guys and I would not hesitate to recommend you to my friends or to purchase other jewellery from you in the future. You are a true master of your trade and I'm now a firm believer in the Excel brand.
