Hi Barry, Just wanted to let you and Judah know that I finally gave the ring you made to my girlfriend (now fiance) last week. She was shocked at how beautiful it looks, and to tell you the truth, so am I. I had not taken it outside since purchasing it from you in September, but when I now look at it in the daylight it is spectacular. Remarkably, even at night in poor light it looks extraordinary. She claims it is the most beautiful diamond she has ever seen and is simpy amazed at the sparkle. Several of her friends have now sworn that it is the most shiny and beautiful ring they have ever seen. Not sure if that is the norm among women (complementing out of politeness), but the ones I have seen are truly impressed. A couple of her friends have nicknamed the stone "the disco ball" because it reflects light in all directions so perfectly. For all of this I say - Thank you very much. Here are a few comments, and these are actual quotes: "Stunning, gorgeous." -- roommate "Perfect, absolutely perfect." -- nosey neighbor "By far the prettiest ring of all my girlfriends." -- different neighbor "Let me see it one more time before I go to work." -- roommate "This is EXACTLY the kind of ring I want." -- cousin "Don't expect me to find anything close to this." -- roommate's boyfriend "You look like J-Lo now...all bling-bling on your hand." -- little sister "I am so impressed, I can't believe he has this much class." -- roommate (not sure how to take that) "The sparkle makes it distracting to talk to you now" -- coworker I have to tell you - when I first came to your store I was skeptical and thought the prices were a bit steep. However, the more I looked at diamonds and the more I learned about different aspects of cut, the more attractive your stones and prices became. In fact, I was never able to find a better price for a similar quality stone. There are a few places (very few) with similar prices for similar quality, but there are none which represent a "better" value. I truly believe this because I probably spent over 100 hours looking and studying online. I think most people do not appreciate high-end quality, and simply look at price and the 4-c's. If you look deeper, you find that a quality stone is hard to find, and that the features which make a diamond brilliant involve far more than carat size or clarity. At any rate, I thank you again for helping me with the process. The ring has been described as "perfect" by several people - even some not-so-close friends who would love to criticize it if they could! Again, thanks Barry. Please send Judah my thanks as well - his comments and assistance were very much appreciated. The setting and stone are a perfect match and everything worked out wonderfully. Where to begin....
I posted (www.diamondtalk.com) a while back about my experience with Barry and SuperbCert. At the time I was just looking and learning about diamonds.
Barry was incredibly helpful during this time, as I outlined in that previous testimonial.

Well, the planets aligned, I wound up with the finances to purchase a diamond and ring quicker than I had anticipated, and I found a .53 E VVS2 Round SuperbCert diamond on the SuperbCert website that perfectly fit my budget. I selected the SuperbCert 6 prong Tiffany style platinum setting.
I called Barry, discussed this diamond and setting with him, and easily set up payment for this ring.

Barry and Judah have been so helpful every step of the way, answering all my (surely annoying) questions with incredible speed. They are really kind people who believe in their product, and the art of diamonds.

I recieved the ring quickly, and I was completely blown away by the quality of this diamond. I never thought, when I was origionally perusing the over priced and under qualifyed diamonds at my local brick and mortar stores, that I would be able to purchase such a great and beautiful diamond. The diamonds I had seen at local shops were murky, colored, and badly cut. This diamond that I purchased is so impressive, and the light that sparkled off of it when I took it into the sunshine was nearly blinding.

My girl is not picky, and she certainly wouldent want me spending a ton on something like a diamond. However, she is so great that I wanted to get her the best diamond possible. Though this diamond is only a little over a half of a carat, it looks MUCH larger. Barry mentioned this to me, that a good cut makes a smaller diamond look larger, and it truly does.

Barry and Judah both are so great and its rare to get the sort of customer service that they provide. They PERSONALLY look after your order!
Its not just like buying a diamond from someone, it's like SuperbCert is a part of this important event in my life.
And I have no doubt that if I need any assistance at a later date that they will be there.

To close, I initially shrugged off making such a purchase on the internet, thinking it unsafe and "cheap". How wrong I was. Make the decision for yourself, as Barry advised me to do, but take into consideration the amount of documentation, photos, and certifications that SuperbCert provides on their website. Where as the B&M stores made me feel as if they wanted me to remain IGNORANT about diamonds, SuperbCert let me see everything about their diamonds, right there, online. I was able to find the diamond that fit my budget and quality needs.

I hope this testimonial does justice to the outstanding company that the Gutwein family have operated for many many years. I thank them personally for helping me, and giving me the opportunity to get the best diamond that I can afford for my great girl.
I wont be asking her the question for a few more weeks, but I think that when I will she is going to be really excited and impressed with the ring that Barry and Judah have made for us.
