Dear Judah & Barry,
With all my love and soul, THANK YOU FOR HELPING MAKE OUR DREAM COME TRUE.
The diamond is so beautiful. I can’t wait to put it on Julie’s finger.
My family are speechless and all they can say is they have never seen so much fire from a diamond.
Thank you for your wonderful service, I look forward to doing more business with you in the near future.
All that’s left now is to have the diamond appraised, for insurance, then have it set. I will take a photo of it and email it to you.
Thank you again,

Hi Barry,
Everything has gone as planned, the trip was great, the proposal went great, etc... We do need to get the ring sized down from the 7 1/2 to a 6 1/2. I bet you're saying "WOW, he was WAY off!" But that is the size I remember from nonchalant conversation with her. We went to two jewelry stores to get her sized, both places recommend 6 1/2. So please tell me what I need to do to get it mailed to you, address, RMA, etc... I plan on mailing it express US Mail, what would you recommend I insure it for(appraised amount)? Any other suggestions would be great. I would like to get it out to you today. Thanks Barry, she loves the ring. Just to add, we were in Belize for our trip. Just about everyone at the resort was honeymooning. I'm very happy to report that when all the women were "comparing" rings, my ladies BLEW them all out of the water! :)

Dear Barry and Judah
I proposed on 10 Sep 2003, Natasha's birthday, on a secluded beach on Phuket Island, Thailand. She was in tears when she said yes!!
She loves the ring, and commented that the sparkle is brilliant, the size of the diamond perfect and the setting is very elegant and unique (I have not seen this design in Singapore). Thanks, Barry for the recommendation :)
We had to get the ring re-sized (it was half a size too large - would you believe how petite she is?) so we went to one of the fancy jewelers which had really good lighting in their showroom. My goodness, you should see the dazzle on the stone in that light! Nat was really reluctant to part with the ring; and this is someone who is unaccustomed to wearing jewelry!
We are planning our wedding for June next year, and I'm thinking of a pair of stud earrings as a bridal gift. She had often mentioned that she likes the princess cut. I've looked at your website but found the smallest to be 73pts. Is it possible for you to let me know if a pair of 60-65 pointers princess cuts come into stock? I've got some time for this so I can wait.
Thanks! Again, thank you for your great service and product. Have a good week ahead!
Regards Stephen

Hi Barry, Happy again. I took the ring to Birks Jewelers (top Canadian high end jeweler, Bloor St) who indicated that the prongs were far to short for the size of the diamond and that they often saw this kind of thing from internet suppliers. They indicated they could help me, but it would take 2-3 weeks and require that they send the setting to Montreal and recast a new and larger prong setting. Cost - $450 including setting the diamond. I went to a second high end Jeweler in Yorktown (high end) district who indicated that there was no problem with the prongs but that they would need to send the diamond and setting away for 5 days, wouldnt insure it either way and that they were not responsible for any damage cost $150. I went to Birks Jewelers in the Eaton Centre (downtown) who indicated that they could set the stone no problems, that the prongs were sufficient length and that it would cost around $165 and take a week. I went to European Jewelery also in the Eaton Centre (mid level maul jeweler with a good and helpful reputation). They had an inhouse jeweler who could have done it in front of me but actually refused as he didnt think he was up to the task without being able to rhodium plate it afterwards. This company then recommended an area of Toronto 2 blocks away that has some 40 jewelers in the same building. Here, a very old Chinese man called Olive took me to his workshop on the 5th floor where I watched him produce the results attached. He indicated he could do a low, medium or high setting and recommended the medium, which I agreed with. He positioned the diamond in the setting before confirming with me that the height was OK, then got out an archaic set of tools on a much used wooden desk and set the diamond as I watched from 2 feet away within 15 minutes. Cost - $15 to set it, $45 insurance (if he damaged the diamond or setting this covered either recasting the setting or re-cutting the diamond). He then polished the ring again and cleaned it in an ultrasonic bath. Downstairs, I was given a free engagement ring box (black exterior, my choice from black or white velvet interior). Anyway, I am happy with the results, reinforced in my opinion that the high end jewelers and mauls are either dangerously out of touch with how to do their business or demonstrating that they are not acting in my best interests, and confirmed that I made a good decision with Superbcert. Thanks again. Mike
